You will feel secluded and serene in this Texas Hill Country get-away only 15 minutes from downtown Austin. It's also only 15 minutes to Dripping Springs and Wimberley if you're looking for a small-town experience offering majestic views, abundant wildlife, and rock bottom creeks. Austin's famous Salt Like BBQ, Deep Eddy Vodka distillery and Trattoria Lisina Wineries are all very close by.

This picturesque split-level home is spacious and full of natural light. Located on a sprawling 5.5 acre lot with a gorgeous in-ground pool. The home features four bedrooms with one king bed, one queen, one full and two twins. It sleeps eight comfortably in beds, with a queen-sized airbed available upon request to sleep an extra two. Two sets of french doors open it up to a large patio overlooking a pool, hot tub and playground, making this an awesome spot for families.

**Please note: The owner is a skilled music producer and has a recording studio on the property. He may be present at times when working on an album, however, the studio is very well sound-proofed and his presence will always non intrusive and respectful of guests. The studio has a separate gate entrance, parking, and the rest of the property is exclusively for your use.**

    We were a group of about 10 guys planning a dadchelor party for one of our friends who was soon to be a father. In looking for a venue we knew we wanted a place removed from city distractions with a nice pool and plenty of space to spread out and relax. Bear Creek was an obvious choice with its huge pool, expansive common areas, amazing patio and plenty of bed space. Little did we know Hurricane Harvey would bear down on our weekend and dump record rainfall levels for August all over Texas. Rain never once stopped us from enjoying the hot tub which stayed surprisingly warm considering how much rain we had. The pool was in infinity mode for the entirety of Saturday but we still swam as if the skies were clear. The kitchen provided a great gathering point for each day as we cooked every meal there. The living room was a great venue for small groups of gamers or during the Mayweather vs McGregor fight. Plenty of seating for everyone. At the end of each day we all had a place to sleep. The only negative word spoken during the entire weekend was in regard to the small back room behind the kitchen. Apparently during a storm that room can sound a bit spooky and the beds are a little stiff. Other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend here and will be inquiring for next year's weekend trip.

    My daughter decided to have her wedding ceremony in Dripping Springs so we rented this home as an alternative to week long stay in a hotel for my entire family. It worked out perfectly. We were able to cook some of our meals and spend time together around the great pool, hot tub, and porches. The home is situated on a quiet country road and you don't realize you have neighbors other than the chickens next door and the deer that roam the area. It was a short 15 minute drive to Dripping Springs and an easy drive to the local attractions. The house was furnished nicely and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The only complaint that we had was a bit of a sewer gas smell on occasion in the laundry room area. We did not mention it to the property management until our departure so I don't if has been addressed. All in all we enjoyed our time at the home and would recommend this unit to anyone with a large group who enjoy being outside.

    We had a great weekend. The home was very beautiful and clean. The only downside were the beds. Most of our friends said they didn't sleep well and even chose to sleep on the floor instead of the bed.
